Heroes Journey

Ordinary World: In Batman there are different Ordinary worlds. 1. Is Gotham while Bruce is a small child. 2: It could also be the Chinese prison that he is in before Ducard finds him 3:Is when Bruce is with Ducard learning the fighting ways.
Call to Adventure: Bruce's call to adventure most likely is when his parents are killed. It could also be when he comes from Harvard to the hearing. He is set on killing his parents killer. When Bruce is in the Chinese prison Henri Ducard comes and invites him into the League of Shadows. A group of ninja vigilantes.
Refusal of the Call: Bruce after Chill (his parents killer) is shot and killed takes a drive with Rachel. He confesses to her that one of the reasons he came was to shoot him. Rachel gets all ticked and drives him to Falcones place. Bruce confronts Falcone telling him he is not afraid and has nothing to lose. Falcone threatens Alfred and Rachel so Bruce runs. He is later found in China.
Meeting with the Mentor: Bruce while in the Chinese prison meets Henri Ducard. Henri becomes his Guardian. Teaching Bruce and helping with advice. When Bruce leaves the League of Shadows and returns home his Mentor changes to Alfred. Alfred is a smart cookie. He helps Bruce with his problems and even helps in getting the Batcave ready. You also say the Mr. Fox is also a sort of mentor. He learned Bruce's identity and helps supply things.
Crossing the threshold: Bruce when he is with the League of Shadows is expected to execute someone. He doesn't feel this is the right thing to do so he uses his new found knowledge to blow up the building. He returns to Gotham that which at this point is the special world.
Test, Allies, and Enemies: Bruce has many tests to face. When he was a child his parents were killed, he faces the world alone, he becomes a prisoner, has to go through the hard process of hardening his body and mind. finally he has to escape to Gotham where he has vowed to protect from Ra's al Ghul. When Bruce returns to Gotham he reunites with Alfred. He becomes good friends once again. He also gains the friendship with Mr. Fox, and Lt. Gordon. Being Batman the list of enemies is quite long. Falcone and his men, crane(or scarecrow), The Authorities, Ra's al Ghul or Ducard, The people of Gotham, and the insane people.
Approach: Some of the setbacks that Bruce go through are when he returns to Gotham people think of him as a rich snotty person who only cares about himself. As Batman he requires many materials to assist him in his work. He has to lie to get them, buy in high quantities to avoid suspicion. He has to borrow from Mr. Fox even though what he is borrowing is his. Then the pain he has to deal with. Getting his butt whooped.
Ordeal: Batman's greatest Ordeal is trying to defeat Ducard. In the end the final battle between Bruce and Ducard. When Bruce ran from Gotham people assumed he had died. When he returned he was reborn into society and into the role of Batman. With his death came the rebirth of a better Bruce.
Reward: Bruce overcame his fear of Bats. Thats what scared him the most. While learning to become a fighter he is faced with his fear of bats. Returning from China Bruce survived death. He returns back to the cave that he fell into and overcomes his fear of bats. And as a reward becomes braver and now has a freaking awesome Batcave to chill in.
The Road Back: Bruce's Road Back is difficult. He has to face many challenges and over come many fears. When ,at Bruce's party, Bruce and Ducard meet back up Bruce is face with the question again of will he join the League of Shadows. He still resists and is faced with a challenge.
Resurrection: The most difficult fight Batman fights is at the end when he fights Ducard. The train is hurtling at intense speeds. He uses at the end what Ducard tells him all the time. "Mind your surroundings." Bruce uses that knowledge to win and to kill Ducard.
Return with the Elixir: When the poison that Crane makes is released and is spread over the city Mr. Fox has to mass produce the antidote. It is used to heal the city and the people.

Archetypes
Hero: The hero is Batman. It can also be Alfred cause he serves Bruce.
Mentor: Alfred, Ducard, Bruces Father, Mr. Fox
Threshold Guardian: Ducard tests Bruce at the League of Shadows.
Herald: Ducard challenges Bruce to join them
Shapeshifter: Crane is the most logical. He changes into what people fear the most with his poison.
Shadow: Ducard or the League of Shadow, Crane, and Falcone.
Trickster: Crane. He disrupts the normal life with his poison.
